embers of the Stillwood Study Center meet
together weekly in small groups to disuss ideas and books
related to human develolpment and its application in modern
society. Members also attend a weekly class designed to
explore the relationship between movement and music.
Members usually gather one full day a week to learn
and practice a variety of crafts and skills, such as
woodwooking, writing, computer graphics, drama, print-making,
international cooking, nature study, and fabric craft.
Recently, practical work has focused on adapting existing
bulidings and constructing a new building to use for
our educational activities. For further information about the activities at Stillwood please refer to the following link: www.rochestergurdjieffcenter.org.
With the exception of the outreach
programs, Stillwood Study Center activities are limited
to members and their
families. Membership is open to the public but limited
to people who are prepared to make a serious commitment
to the activities and goals of the organization.
